General:

AFENUE provides fellowships for potential candidates to undertake a PhD study (3 years) or an integrated Master-PhD study (4 years) at Nutrition and Feed Science study program, Graduate School of IPB University

Quota: 

One fellowship per year (next intake: August 2022)

Eligibility:

A. Bachelor degree holders (subjected to an integrated Master-PhD study, 4 years):

  1. GPA bachelor > 3.50
  2. Maximum 24 years old
  3. TOEFL ITP > 500 or IELTS > 5.5
  4. Priority will be given to candidates with excellent academic achievements and scientific publications

B. Master degree holders (subjected to a PhD study, 3 years):

  1. GPA bachelor > 3.50 and GPA master > 3.75
  2. Maximum 26 years old
  3. TOEFL ITP > 500 or IELTS > 5.5
  4. Priority will be given to candidates with excellent academic achievements and scientific publications

Benefit: 

  1. Full cover of tuition fee during the entire study period (3 or 4 years)
  2. Living allowance of Rp 1.500.000/month (3 or 4 years)
  3. Research expenses (attached to an ongoing research project)
  4. Possibility for 1-2 semesters of research exchange abroad at an international partner laboratory (Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Turkey, France, Austria or Switzerland) 

Responsibility:

  1. Perform the research project or experiments related to the study
  2. Publish at least one paper per year as the first author in reputable international journals (Scopus Q1-Q3)
  3. Completing the study on time (3 years for a PhD study or 4 years for an integrated Master-PhD study)

Partial benefit:

AFENUE fellowship may be given partially, i.e., it covers only half of the tuition fee without any monthly allowance. Such condition applies when the candidate does not fully meet the eligibility criteria as described above.
